Description
The TP1-IR wireless touch probe is used for precise workpiece setup and tool measurement on CNC machine tools or as a precision limit switch in automation. Signal transmission between the probe and receiver is via infrared light.
On the PH version the receiver cable is protected by a flexible conduit. The COMBO set adds the CS16 clamping shank and an M4 D3×20 ruby stylus to the probe, delivered as a pre-centered assembly ready to install in the machine spindle without further adjustment.

Operating Settings
The probe has two modes: standby and operating. Deflecting the stylus wakes it into operating mode and activates READY; after a set idle time it returns to standby.

Radiated power, set to the distance from the receiver. A higher duty cycle shortens battery life; the quoted range and battery figures are for the factory value.
